Style and music icon, Marianne Faithful, is the latest face to step on the scene for the Saint Laurent Music Project. With her iconic 60′s rocker style, it’s no doubt how Hedi viewed her as a major source of inspiration. The ‘Project’ started last year, and since then, we have seen CourtneyLove, Marilyn Manson, Daft Punk, Kim Gordon and more of the likes, posing for portraits shot by Slimane.

Obsessed: Elle Fanning’s Sleeping Beauty Shoes

Looks like Disney’s Maleficent stars Angelina Jolie and Elle Fanning have truly “stepped” into their fairytale roles. While in Paris, promoting the movie, the pair each donned footwear that reflected their respective characters.

Elle Fanning appropriately wore Charlotte Olympia’s Sleeping Princess shoes (which subsequently sold out online…), while Jolie wore intricate black Louboutins that were perfectly reminiscent of her own villainous character in the film.

To make the whole thing even cuter, the two stars spent most of the night giggling and holding hands. Watch out Brad, Angelina and Elle might be our new favorite duo in Hollywood. Too adorable!

Recent String of Global High-End Heists: Who’s Robbing the World?

Celine-Grenelle

We’ve all fantasized about being Emma Watson in the Bling Ring, a movie about teenagers who rob celebrity homes for their designer-filled closets. Well, it turns our somebody out there is living a similar dream. On Wednesday, Céline’s Paris boutique on Rue François 1er was robbed, as was a Dior flagship in the same vicinity.

In the Dior robbery, two masked men have made away with bags and shoes with an estimated value of $137,516, a Dior official told WWD. The value of the Celine heist has yet to be released.

All this comes just days after three men drove a stolen Audi through the front window of a Chanel store in London and made off with nearly 30 Chanel bags.

But the high-end heists don’t end there!

This past January, Connecticut, Virginia, New Jersey, and New York have all be hit a ring of smash-and-grab jewelry robbers who have stole millions of dollars worth of jewelry and watches.

Around the same time, thieves made a getaway from a Brooklyn liquor store with over $45,000 worth of booze!

So what’s going on? Why is the whole world suddenly being robbed?

Sure, Netflix decided that Orange is the New Black, but we doubt they meant high-profile crime should be a trend.

Lupita Nyong’o Named the New Face of Lancôme

Lupita Nyong’o is winning at life. As if the recent Academy Award winner hadn’t had a good enough year already, she’s now being named the face of Lancôme. Nyong’o released a statement regarding her being named a Lancôme ambassador stating, ”I am truly honored to join the Maison Lancôme, a brand with such a prestigious history that I have always loved. I am particularly proud to represent its unique vision for women and the idea that beauty should not be dictated, but should instead be an expression of a woman’s freedom to be herself.”

Lancôme tweeted the picture above of their new ambassadress captioning it “@lupita_nyongo joins Lancôme! .” Nyong’o stunned during awards season showing she is simply the epitome of class, and took home a decent amount of awards too. The General Manager of Lancôme International seems incredibly happy with the decision describing Lupita as ”talented and committed, true to her African beauty, and showing a great curiosity and open-mindedness in her career choices.”

This is definitely the year of the Lupita. You go girl.

As the Spring 2014 season wraps up in Paris, I’m on the edge of my seat waiting for Couture, which if you ask me, seems like one giant fashion tease, but worth the wait for the sake of staring into my laptop watching live feeds all day. And as of lately, the get-ups outside of the shows seem to be calling just as much, if not more attention than the actual presentations.
