Oh Amanda Seyfried, how we love thee. This blonde hair, blue doughy eyed bombshell is no stranger to the silver screen, and has landed an impressive list of roles making this Hollywood Starlet, a chameleon that can take on any role and run with it. Still this actress is pretty quiet about her personal life, but we got to know her a little better thanks to W Magazine.

Boredom Kills – she is most afraid of being bored. While vacationing in late February at a resort, she thought to herself she “should be loving this” but couldn’t wrap her head around the fact she wasn’t being productive. She loves to work and if she hasn’t accomplished something – she feels like she failed the day.

Addicted to Love - Amanda loves acting like she’s in love! She loves sex scenes and thinks they’re a lot of fun especially given some of her hunky costars like, Justin Timberlake, Channing Tatum, Adam Brody, and Megan Fox – can you blame her with a lineup like that?!

Amanda’s Best Friend –  Sometimes Amanda thinks her dog is more famous than her (come on, who wouldn’t love that face). Her dog, Finn has appeared on soap opera’s with her, The Late Show with David Letterman, and when she landed in Korea recently people had pictures and signs for Finn!

Rise to Fame –  According to Amanda she doesn’t think she was really famous until last year. Les Miserables was the international hit she feels like propelled her into stardom. She didn’t think anyone paid any attention to her or what she was doing – which she kind of didn’t mind.

Puppy Love –  She met her first boyfriend on the set of her first soap opera All My Children. They kissed for the first time on the show and to her it felt like a Fairytale. So cute!

Although she’s still a very private person we still can’t but help wanting to know more and more about this continuous rising star. Amanda you’ve always been our favorite since you played Karen Smith and told us you have ESPN.

Clooney Plays Chameleon With Yayoi Kusama in W Magazine

Clooney in an Armani suit? That’s nothing new. George Clooney in polka dotted Armani suit? Now that’s something out of the ordinary.

The December/January issue of W Magazine is graced by this silver fox in an editorial shoot by Emma Summerton, with spotted suit alterations done by Yayoi Kusama. Kusama is notorious for adding her love of spots to her art, and fashion as well. Though it seems a bit odd, the collaboration turned out to be a big hit and well… When do we ever really mind staring at Clooney? The issue will also include an interview with Clooney in which he discusses filming Gravity as well as revealing a surprise childhood crush.

The Beckhams Grace the Cover of Vogue

Okay, really? This just isn’t fair… Two incredibly gorgeous people fall in love, get married, have equally gorgeous babies and on top of it all are gracing the cover of Vogue?!?! It’s too much… However, the couple are featured in Vogue among interviews about their life, relationship as well as Victoria’s favorite beauty secrets. The issue will also have exclusive family pictures you won’t get to see anywhere else, and I’m sure they all nail that “David Backham smolder” in all their family portraits.

Best gene pool ever? I think so….

Teen Vogue Back to School Saturday Collaboration with Collection B Jackets at Nordstrom

13 August, 2013 All, Exclusives 3 comments

The most exciting time for fashion is fall. It is a time where everyone revamps their wardrobe and reaches for levels of innovation not yet met. From couture designers trying to impress the ‘seen it all’ bloggers and fashion icons, to high school survivors trying to upgrade their closets from the year before, Teen Vogue takes advantage of this opportunity to share a snippet of their top trend forecasts for the fall season.

On August 10th, Nordstrom hosted an event at The Grove in Los Angeles, with Teen Vogue who partnered with Collection B Jackets. Four looks were based on the “Street Smart” trend and the other four were named “Little Darlings.” Freelance editor Michelle Meyer hosted the show and walked the audience through the magic that was happening in the mind of Teen Vogue forecasters.

Street Smarts denote that an individual is knowledgeable on how to handle oneself in the world. Dressing the part is not any different. The looks were edgy, grungy and rough around the edges. As I modeled for the event, my outfit started with sweet gray, ombre-printed leggings with a white sweater and a gray leather Collection B Jacket. The look was pulled together nicely and surely sparked an interest in a few girls in the audience to find an outfit inspired by mine.

“Little Darlings” was a trend that showcased a more lady-like look in relation to “Street Smart.” Behind the hard exterior some girls can build up, there is a soft and feminine aesthetic to us when we open up to you. My second look was all about the layers. Black leggings, a printed floral dress, cropped sweater and a red Collection B Jacket. It was girly enough to make the boys wink, but the red leather jacket said, “You can look, but you definitely can’t touch.”

The day was filled with raffle winners having the opportunity to be styled by Meyer, a special guest performance by the new upcoming boy band, After Romeo, and a stylist workshop hosted by blogger Mod Fox. Stepping outside of Nordstrom, consumers and fans had a great time in the grass receiving free mani’s, ice cream and a makeup makeover. The day was definitely packed with fun and excitement. Teen Vogue hopes that you are more than excited to start the school year and are able to open your closet on the first day of school and say, “I have so much to wear!”

Models Amanda, Mariya and Ashley with blogger Michelle from Mod Fox wearing Collection B Jackets in “Street Style” trend forecast.

First Look: 3.1 Phillip Lim For Target to Debut in September

There were simply not enough words to describe my excitement when I heard that Target’s next designer collaboration will be NYC-based, modern genius, Phillip Lim. Joining Target’s collab hall of famers including, Jason Wu, Prabal Gurung, and most recently celebrity stylist Kate Young, Phillip will produce a men’s and women’s collection set to debut on September 15th.

“Since an early age, I’ve been intrigued by the idea of design evolution,” said Lim. “One of the reasons I wanted to collaborate with Target is because I felt that together we could create a collection that would inspire — one that is cool and chic, but still very accessible.”

With more than 100 items priced from $19.99 to $299.99, 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target will do just that — bring his super-cool, refined designs to the modern-day citizen who lives a multi-faceted life.

The collection features apparel and accessories in neutral fall tones and patterns, and includes shoes, bags, and even travel accessories that will be available at most Target stores and at target.com. What a great reward after NYFW!

H&M FINALLY Gives U.S. the Luxury To Shop Online

I am probably the biggest online shopping whore that you will ever meet. UPS and Fed-Ex can probably get to my house without a GPS now, sadly. So if you are like me, AND you live in the U.S. you know that H&M never gave U.S. shoppers the opportunity to shop through the web. Talk about first world pains. But no need to worry anymore, because H&M lovers, such as myself, can now be lazy and shop in sweats with an online H&M shopping bag.

Here is a little preview of what you will see once you enter the website and begin your online shopping spree.

Happy shopping!

According to Vogue.com, “Saks Fifth Avenue has been bought by Hudson’s Bay Company, the parent company of luxury Canadian store chain Lord & Taylor. The deal has been valued at $2.9 billion.”  The sale will see the American luxury retailer, finally reach Canada for the first time, as well as open up to seven new stores, in addition to twenty-five of its Off-5th discount shops.

Saks, famous for its iconic Fifth Avenue flagship in Manhattan, will operate separately within HBC and have its own merchandising, marketing and store operations teams. It will also keep its New York headquarters.

“This exciting portfolio of three iconic brands creates one of North America’s premier fashion retailers,” said Mr. Baker, HBC’s chairman and chief executive office. “I’ve had a long connection with Saks over the years, and I am thrilled to bring one of the world’s most recognized luxury retailers in the HBC family.”
