After Anna Wintour took her new throne as Conde Nast’s artistic director, one of her first tasks was to bring in Eva Chen in as Lucky magazine’s newest Editor in Chief!

Upon her appointment, Wintour said, “From the streets of New York City to Shanghai and everywhere in between, Eva is the quintessential Lucky girl… Eva is a woman of tremendous talent and experience. I have worked with her over the last few years, both during her time at Teen Vogue, and as she has been consulting withLucky. Her lengthy experience in our industry gives her a solid foundation in both digital and e-commerce. Lucky’s September issue will be her first opportunity to showcase her leadership ability, and I have every confidence she will meet the moment head-on.”

Chen, who replaced former EIC Brandon Holley, has an impressive resume that includes beauty director at Teen Vogue, while working as a contributing editor for several different publications under Conde Nast.

One of her most respected roles was when she starred in the movie “Up In The Air,” alongside George Clooney, where I am sure some jealousy arose from the Clooney lovers. But on a more recent scale, one of my favorite movies that Anna has starred in would definitely have to be the movie “Pitch Perfect,” I mean, who knew she could sing, too! This girl has it all. She is a natural when it comes to the stage, and the audience loves her, so get ready to catch her on the big screen in the near future, because she has quite a few films up her sleeve.

After being booted off of by IMG Models in 2010, our favorite troublemaker Taylor Momsen, has found a new home at Next Model Management. The current 19-year old The Pretty Reckless rockstar is joins the likes of Alexa Chung, Lana Del Rey and Rita Ora at her new agency.

“I’m excited about my new relationship with Next Models,” said Momsen. “Next has great vision, and will be a fantastic partner in furthering both my music and fashion.”

WWD said, “According to Dior, the print campaign will break from Sept. 1 in a range of magazine titles for women and men, along with daily newspapers.

The television commercial, shot largely in New York, is to debut the same month in 60-second and 80-second lengths.”

Dinosaurs are having a fashion moment, and as if you didn’t think the influences of the stylized industry could get any crazier…it’s safe to say that this may have pushed the envelope. Today, Louis Vuitton revealed its new window installations featuring something a little different from the former brightly hued works of eccentric artist, Yayoi Kusama. Instead the brand has opted for a pre-historic vibe including sparkly gold skeletons of some of the most recognisable dinosaurs, such as a kindly Stegosaurus, and Tyrannosaurus Rex. Amid the giant gold reptiles are bags from Autumn/Winter 2013 and clothing from the Pre-Fall collection. It’s been stated that the dino-chic windows were inspired by a trip to the Natural History Museum in Paris’ Les Jardins des Plantes. Seven stores worldwide—including the boutiques on Paris’ Champs Élysées, London’s New Bond Street, and New York’s Fifth Avenue— will host the jurassic style makeover.

With rumors swirling about whether Marc Jacobs will renew his contract in 2014, Louis Vuitton seems to be a pretty heavy topic of conversation. Any friendly extinct creature that can rep a full on L.V look is totally dope in my book (slightly cray cray, but I’m always game for whatever the house brings to the table).

I’d say, the future for Louis Vuitton is looking pretty dino-mite.

The lineup was incredible. Almost impossible! The 3-day Governors Ball Music Festival was held on Randall’s Island, New York with rocking names like Kanye West, Kings of Leon, The Xx, Of Monsters and Men, Kendrick Lamar, The Lumineers, Feist, Guns N’Roses, and much more on the line up!

Unfortunately the storm alert from Hurricane Andrea on Friday (June 7), warned high winds and floods and caused headliners Kings of Leon to cancel their stage. Fortunately, they managed to play their make up set the following day! The rest of the festival was a muddy mess but that didn’t stop music lovers from splashing and sludging their way to their favorite artists. Overall (though the 8 inch muddy mess), the festival was a success with Sunday’s weather being almost too sunny with some of Kanye’s new tunes!

Annnnd a music festival isn’t complete without some Festival Street Style! Annex presents to you the Governors Ball fashionisas rocking their rain gear!

BFFs Cara Delevingne & Rita Ora are teaming up for a collaboration with Topshop! With the help of Topshop heiress Chloe Green, the girls are working together to create a line that could compete with Victoria Beckham and Kate Moss.

A source said, “Rita’s become increasingly matey with Chloe Green and has mentioned the idea to her in the hope that she might help get it to her dad, Topshop boss Philip.”
