Australian rapper/singer Iggy Azalea chose to use her “Fancy” new music video to pay tribute to the classic movie, Clueless. In it, almost perfectly mirrored scenes from the movie take place and take us way back to when the movie was our FAVE and most quotable movie of the time (as if!). The music video dropped yesterday and has attracted the younger crowd, as well as those who are hankering for Clueless to be brought back. Director X made sure the video brought back the classic parts of the film, but incorporated today’s gadgets as well to make it a bit more relatable.
Looks like this betty is rocking out and doing music videos right. Congrats Iggy!

Sky Ferreira’s “Everything is Embarrassing”
He has consistently showed us his selfless side, is a well-known advocate for equality, and can teach us a thing or two about how to properly style fur jackets…We are finding it almost impossible to not fall madly in love with, rapper/artist Macklemore. After recently posting his heartfelt message to fellow rapper Kendrick Lamar and his unforgettable performance at the Grammy’s (we have it playing on repeat), these are just the little things that keep us in awe of him. His good looks have taken a backseat in comparison to his personality, although we could still stare at him all day. Macklemore may be our MCM, but he definitely deserves our whole weeks worth.

Pretty Little Liars star Lucy Hale has released her new song “You Sound Good to Me” and it sounds GREAT to us. Yesterday she appeared to premiere the single on Sirius XM from the Music City Theater in Nashville. Lucky for anyone who missed that, her single is now available on Amazon and iTunes or for whoever DVR’ed the winter premiere of Pretty Little Liars, it was played there too!
Hale’s video will be streamed through VEVO on YouTube, in addition to that the channel will be releasing videos of the behind the scenes making of the video and interviews with the country princess herself. Just since yesterday, the release has Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, etc. fans going CRAZY over the new single. Looks like it’s a hit.
Move over Taylor, looks like you have some competition.

Beyonce’s new video, XO, has sparked quite a bit of controversy due to the fact that it contains recordings from the 1986 Challenger space shuttle occurrence in Florida. As we known the event ended in a tragic explosion only minutes after taking off, killing all seven members on board. This is precisely why people are unsure if Beyonce means her song as a tribute to the unfortunate event and its victims or if she’s using it to further views on her Youtube video that takes place in a theme park.
In response to the controversy, Beyonce told ABC Monday morning: ”My heart goes out to the families of those lost in the Challenger disaster. The song ‘XO’ was recorded with the sincerest intention to help heal those who have lost loved ones and to remind us that unexpected things happen, so love and appreciate every minute that you have with those who mean the most to you.”
The verdict: looks like the Queen’s intentions are only pure, and this video is simply in remembrance that life is unexpected so live it while its here.

Miley’s new music video for her song ‘Adore You’ was to be released, but was leaked ahead of time unexpectedly. As per usual, Miley attempts to up the shock factor which seems to have been her theme for the year beginning with her latex clad outfit and performance at the VMA’s. However, the reaction this time doesn’t seem to be quite what we’re used to. Many fans are upset having heard the song on the album ahead of time and expecting a much sweeter video, versus the solo touching under the sheets and in the murky bath water Miley does for the entire video. However, the romantic(ish?) song is rumored to be about ex, Liam Hemsworth, Miley even sings a line about being in holy matrimony… Is someone regretting ending things?
Whether to give it a thumbs up or diss the video with a nasty comment, her views go up by the minute, which will keep Miley on top, even if only for now. My only personal advice for you Miley? I think it’s time to drain that bath water…….
Beyonce surprised us by releasing her self-titled album at midnight on iTunes. Suffice to say we’re spending all day today listening to the Queen. AND in addition to releasing 14 brand new tracks, the album contains 17 music videos to watch over and over to our heart’s content. Her ‘Pretty Hurts’ video has created the most chatter because in it she takes diet pills and portrays the feeling of not being enough in the industry. Beyonce is incredibly passionate about her art, so the videos portray her love for it even further, she explains this and spoke to fans through a Facebook video saying: “It’s more than just what I hear,” she said. “When I’m connected to something, I immediately see a visual or a series of images that are tied to a feeling or an emotion, a memory from my childhood, thoughts about life, my dreams or my fantasies. And they’re all connected to the music.”
‘This album is a celebration’
